  Well, my amazing girlfriend, whom I dated a year ago, had to break up with because divorce was still upending my life, remained friends with, and finally was overjoyed to get a second chance with, had to break up with me for stupid reasons outside both our control. I totally understand her decision, but we’re both heartbroken. Anyway, you nice people might be seeing a bit more of me again now that I’m not spending my spare time with her. 😔

  At-Home Laser Week 6: Still hurts a lot, but maybe it hurts a tiny bit less than Week 5? Because I think I have slightly less hair in some places? Or I’m just getting used to the pain and therefore deluding myself that the device is working.

  I don’t really see myself as a mom, so I’m not sad that I don’t get recognized on Mother’s Day. What does make me sad is that today is the day *after* my son’s birthday, his mom planned his birthday party for today instead of his actual birthday because he’d be with her, not me, and then told me I wasn’t invited. (I could not have planned his party for his actual birthday for reasons I’m not willing to discuss here.) So here I am, missing my son‘s birthday party for the first time in his life.

  Well, kids, I’m divorced. Late Monday night, when I signed the paperwork after 10 hours of mediation, I felt totally shattered. Today, I feel hopeful, lighter. Time to start forging my own new path in earnest.

  Tangenting off someone else’s post, here’s a very silly take: Vim is a domme. It’s bossy and very procedural, but ultimately you (the sub) are the one in control. Vim has safe words. “Oh, you think you’ve had enough? If you really want to be done, use this exact expression, and I will release you.“ It’s not great at aftercare, though.

  On my way with my parents to a family wedding, so I did my makeup in the back seat of the car while driving down the interstate! I don’t think I’ve ever done a worse job on my eyeliner 😂. But fortunately I have new green eyeshadow to help fudge it over. I also used blush for the first time ever. I think I might have gone overboard because I was having trouble getting even light on my face. Doing makeup in the car is obviously an aspect in which I need to level up!

  We adopted Luna when she was almost 5, after she was rescued from being a breeder in a puppy mill. Almost 5 years later, she is still developing a personality and coming out of her shell after having been mistreated for so long. This is the first time she has ever lain her head in my lap like this, which is why I look so happy right now.

  Lots of dysphoria on here today. Something that has always stuck with me is “Never compare your backstage to someone else’s onstage.“ So here’s a bit of my backstage. I’ve bathed and shaved, so even this is a bit of a presentation. But there’s no makeup, hair still damp, angle shows my neck, lighting darkens my eyes. This isn’t me fishing for compliments; no one needs to tell me how pretty I look despite all the above. Just putting down the facade for a moment. My love to all of you, friends.
