  "Yesterday I learnt" .... that if you save longwords in LITTLE ENDIAN format but then you read them as BIG endian "something doesn't work quite right" .. oh hum ..

  I just received an email from a company offering some services "We worked for <too big companies> and " .. many Indie studios .." .. which I SUSPECT has to be read as ".. many indie studios that have FUCKLOAD more money than what we do ". Still I guess someone thinks we are much bigger than what we actually are ? 🤔

  I just spent 20 ? mins or so talking to Victoria, brushing Victoria, re-cleaning the stable, giving her fresh water, trying to tell her "she has 2 more weeks only now". I am sure the whole process is doing "something" she now been almost 3 weeks on strict monitored diet of washed ( for 12 hours ) hay + balancer + medication. I THINK she lost a bit of weight, which is GOOD she was "a bit too plump pony", she definitely looks even more gorgeous...

  I never thought I'd had to become a 'professional hay soaker/hanger/weighter' but there you go .. I am measuring, soaking, hanging, drying, partitioning hay for Victoria every day now. Did you know that soaking hay makes the water as brown as dark tea ?

  RAGAZZI CHE CAZZI ! 😡 In 2026 an ordeal so far to get some medicine for a poor sick horse ! So there were 2 options "have them from the vet itself" ( that turns out at a "really big" cost ) OR, given that is a human medicine too, have the vet write a prescription for us and get them in a pharmacy. So turns out the pharmacy is much cheaper "we send you the prescription via email", which is a signed PDF doc. I print it, we go the the pharmacy,...

  @psychicparrot42 This is a story I heard MANY years ago, it may be false or no longer valid ( but I think they still have them there ) "In Italian police/carabinieri stations they still use mechanical typewriters for certain docs". They claim is "for can't remember what reason" but THE RUMOUR was that "it's because they had huge contracts with Olivetti they wanted to keep going so they had to pay for typewriters maintenance" o...

  Every 2 hours or so I go to the stable to spend 10 mins with Victoria and check on her. I brush her a bit, talk her a bit, I plan this week end to buy somewhere a small radio so she can listen to some music while there.
