  Building Groove has taught me a lot about mobile app design and SwiftUI. It’s been fun to iterate and improve the look and feel over the last few months, addressing feedback as well as pain points I’ve come across using it myself every day. The next update is, I think, the best looking version so far. I’ll need to redo 1 or 2 screenshots for the App Store though and I’m dreading that. 😭 #swiftui

  So I think I’ve finally figured out part of why forming better habits doesn’t work for me in the long run. I keep trying to use habit trackers, and at some point, the cognitive load of using them becomes too much and I start avoiding the habit to avoid having to track it, and I end up just falling.

  The Apple Silicon chips have been so good that my response to an M5 MacBook Air is 🤷‍♂️ My M2 Air never feels like it’s lagging behind, or choking on anything I throw at it. Sure, an M5 will definitely be faster, but not enough for me to be like “I gotta upgrade!” The only reason I might consider an upgrade at this point is when 24GB of RAM starts feeling painful. 😂 https://www.macrumors.com/2026/03/03/apple-announces-macbook-air-with-m5/
