The Apple Silicon chips have been so good that my response to an M5 MacBook Air is π€·ββοΈ
My M2 Air never feels like itβs lagging behind, or choking on anything I throw at it. Sure, an M5 will definitely be faster, but not enough for me to be like βI gotta upgrade!β
The only reason I might consider an upgrade at this point is when 24GB of RAM starts feeling painful. π

Honestly, if I had to pick the one bottleneck to the performance of the M2 for me, its the RAM being capped at 24GB. But swap on the M-series Macs is so good that, in the rare cases it comes to that, I barely notice.
