  Me yesterday: now that my NAS is out of the data center and in my home I should configure a network UPS for it and my network components Me @ 2 PM: glad I got that set up so now if the power goes out, my Raspberry Pi DNS server will see that the UPS has lost power and get my NAS and Mac mini to shut down, but testing it will have to wait Transformer down the street @ 3:45 PM: *KABOOM* Me @ 3:50 PM: HOORAY EVERYTHING SHUT DOWN Me @ 3:55 PM: OH, INCLUDING MY MASTODON SERVER 😩

  Hadn't gone running in ages but when I saw a sign for a run festival benefitting a local elementary school I signed up for a 5K. Went for a shakeout run this past Monday and did 5K at 11:06 / mile. Today was the actual race and just got the race results: 29:59, pace 9:39 / mile 112th out of 291 78th out of 149 men total 28th out of 43 men age 40-49 Not bad for a geezer who hasn't run in four years!

  @APBBlue @nathanlovestrees One of my sisters had a shirt with the Lemonheads candy logo on it. She once left a store and my mom followed a moment later, and as she passed two kids on their way in she overheard “you da lemonhead” “no, YOU da lemonhead”. So now that’s one of our family insults. 😂
