Me yesterday: now that my NAS is out of the data center and in my home I should configure a network UPS for it and my network components Me @ 2 PM: glad I got that set up so now if the power goes out, my Raspberry Pi DNS server will see that the UPS has lost power and get my NAS and Mac mini to shut down, but testing it will have to wait Transformer down the street @ 3:45 PM: *KABOOM* Me @ 3:50 PM: HOORAY EVERYTHING SHUT DOWN Me @ 3:55 PM: OH, INCLUDING MY MASTODON SERVER 😩
