ive noticed sometimes in social situations cis people will seem to actively look for reasons to hate a trans person that makes their hatred socially acceptable. like one slight and then you're out kind of thing. and then once the trans person has made a mistake, the response is almost carceral in nature even if the cis people responding are leftist am i hallucinating this? im a cis gay guy but even i have noticed it

I find it deeply disturbing how many people genuinely forgot how awful COVID was. It was more than just a “cold”, it was deadly and killed so many people. The lockdowns were objectively a good thing and prevented the already overloaded healthcare system from collapsing (barely)
