  This weekend I took part in the @thepracticaldev Weekend Challenge and built a fun little app to track places in my Minecraft worlds 😀 ⛏️ Minelog also has an optional add-on to install on Minecraft Bedrock servers and save waypoints directly from inside the game.

  I get the "no screens" policy for younger kids, but let me tell you, that doesn't work past a certain age. My daughter is used to it, so she gets bored from screens after a while, and she is also able to divide her attention at screen + knitting for instance. But whenever one of her friends from school come for a playdate, they seem hypnotized by the TV and other tech in our home, it's so strange for me 😂 I just think prohibiting screens is useless and leads to...

  One thing I don't see people talking about is how AI is killing collaboration. Siloed teams reinventing artifacts (think slide decks, demos, docs) that used to be shared, which will eventually lead to inconsistent brand message and conflict.   Today I visited the #makerfaire at @tudelft and of course I *had* to take a picture with these concrete 3D printed "menhirs" used in a very cool arch bridge made with recycled materials. "The bridge was placed between two end pieces or ‘menhirs’ made with a 3D concrete printer. The menhirs also guide the steel cables that act as railings." I also had to check the extremely satisfying first layer (second photo) 😌 so smooth!
