One thing I don't see people talking about is how AI is killing collaboration. Siloed teams reinventing artifacts (think slide decks, demos, docs) that used to be shared, which will eventually lead to inconsistent brand message and conflict. At the end of the day, there are a lot of wasted resources end-to-end

@erikaheidi@fosstodon.org Yeah, isn't it also delightfully ironic? If it were to speed us up more than ever before... why aren't we collaborating for a united outcome? Where is the mass-boost in revolutionairy open source softeare? My understanding is that the current iterations of AI are really quite sharp at cheer mimicry with alterations pertaining to identity. When it comes to novel software approaches it stalls. This is why loud voices on linkedin laud while devs don't that often.
