π± What AI "coding" can do to your mental health Today: (Somewhat) famous game developer George Broussard (worked on "Duke Nukem 3D", "Rise Of The Triad") Feels the need to tell the world he is currently out of tokens after a "5 hour session". Gets a snarky reply => directly has a breakdown and lashes out. If AI "coding" is so amazing, why does it make these guys be so "on the edge" & aggressive? Shouldn't they be happ...

C question π So far, I am super happy using a subset of C99 (I looked at some features of the later standards, and found almost nothing that I would want to use). However, looking at the GCC extensions to C, I found at least one thing that seems helpful. @sirwumpus@tilde.zone @xexyl@fosstodon.org What is your general advice for this: would you (or do you) use any C extensions from GCC or Clang? Or do you stick to pure ISO C?

π¨οΈ My new printer stopped working under #LinuxMint the other day. Re-adding it resulted in a general error message. Finally found the solution: In the printer&#39;s &quot;location&quot; field, I had specified &quot;Mein BΓΌro&quot; (&quot;My office&quot; in German). And Cups does not like umlauts in that field. πΆ After removing the &quot;ΓΌ&quot;, the printer worked. Maybe this information will be helpful to someone, at some point. π #printer #linux #cups...
