  @laprice Missed the poll. I could see them trying to keep it from the press for fear it would further enrage a populace that doesn’t think we should be there to begin with. On the other hand, I can imagine them trying to use it to justify an extreme level of retaliation. It seems stupid to try to hide something like that because the moment it leaks it would be a huge scandal. But stupid is kinda the whole MO.

  On Firefox for Mac if you command-tilde through all your open windows it eventually stops like it hit the end of the list, and you have to do command-shift-tilde to go backwards. Is this new, or have I just never noticed before? With any other application you can command-tilde through your windows in an infinite loop that wraps around rather than ending.

  Apropos of nothing, I was just thinking about the April Fool’s joke a few years back where pfSense announced they were switching their underlying OS from FreeBSD to Linux. Some people were excited, others mad or confused, and nobody thought it was funny. To my knowledge they never made any public attempt at damage control even after it became clear that people were taking it way too seriously.

  Here’s one for the passkey implementation hall of shame. 1. The Lowe’s UI for managing passkeys gives the impression they’re disabled by showing this introductory text, TOS checkbox, and an Enable Passkey button. But they’re already active. That’s just how you register a new key. 2. The key list has no registration date, last-used date, or ability to edit the title. I have a passkey registered in 1Password and one on a YubiKey. Both are permanently named “Mac OS_Firefox”. #passkeys #passkey

  @IceCubesApp If I start composing a toot and then rotate to landscape, the whole app becomes non-responsive and then crashes after a few seconds. I’m on the latest TestFlight but I’ve seen it in past versions as well.
