Google Fiber announced that they would be splitting from Google and merging with another broadband company to become &#39;gfiber&#39;. I&#39;m mad at Google for not continuing to invest in google fiber over the last 10 years, but I&#39;m slightly optimistic that a company with broadband as its focus can deliver on this more effectively than what was effectively a hobby for a company of Google&#39;s size. https://fiber.google.com/blog/2026/03/gfiber-and-stonepeaks-astound-to....

I went to early vote today in #atlanta and it was the most packed I&#39;ve seen early voting ever. Over 2000 people voted at my location just today. Hopefully a good sign.

When I was a kid, in early 2000s. I would listen to the radio when studying. I would listen to the public broadcasting channel at night, and they would play classical music. I&#39;m not a huge classical fan, but one night there was a piano performance that absolutely hooked me, so I recorded it on a cassette. Related to my previous #music post... secret songs just don&#39;t exist on streaming platforms which is crazy to me. We have this lost media because so many streaming services crop the songs when they hit the dead air between the last track and the secret song. :mindblown:
