I wish I could properly convey the sheer volume and variety of pollinators on this rabbitbrush. Of course I paid it a visit without my Big Camera Probably at least 30 different species on it at once? Bees of all sizes and colors, wasps, moths, flies of all kinds, beetles, and every kind of mimic and imitator in-between Yellow Rabbitbrush. Transplanted a few seedling into pots before the weed eater makes an appearance tomorrow. Feels so good to be digging in the dirt. Two Blue Elder (Sambucus cerulea) and two little Idaho Gooseberry (Ribes oxycanthoides subsp. irrigum) I have my eyes on a few more! #NativePlants #gardening

we signed up for Home Chef for a few weeks to try some new things out in a somewhat hectic time where having nicer meals prepped like this has been very helpful it&#39;s been interesting -- it seems like baking bread has helped a lot with my confidence in the kitchen in general. cooking stuff that is way more complex than I&#39;ve ever done before and it feels nice. getting some great ideas for what to try on our own without a &quot;meal kit&quot; as well

The observation period for this year&#39;s #CItyNatureChallenge has officially begun! You may have a half a day or so depending on where you are, but this year&#39;s observation period is April 24 - April 27 (this Friday - Monday). Hopefully your region is participating, but if not, you can still participate in the global efforts to observe as much wild nature as you can this weekend! Lifer Snow Buntings this weekend!!! I thought I was too late to see them this winter, so when I got the Needs Alert from eBird Saturday afternoon we went out to try to spot them and they ended up being right in the same spot. Three little toasted marshmallows 🤍 🤎 🖤 #birds #birding
