  They should have made Quake Live free for the 30th anniversary. Quake 3 could use a new remaster. The Quake Live UI is borderline broken and clunky as fuck because it originated as a very early browser based game. They should also add native Linux support.

  I've come to the conclusion that I prefer the NCAA basketball style (based on the EVO NXT). The deep beveled channels feel nice for shooting. However the hard edge on the bevel gets ground down over time on a outdoor court. The NCAA has a 7 piece of construction for channel seams. I think it's because they seem to use the same material as the cover (notice how it's pebbled). Opposed to the 2 piece, rubbery construction of most other balls.

  Opus made me a Blender script that lets me turn slop into slop but with less triangles. It just happens that this gun is totally black but in reality it would bake the base color too.

  I never implemented death properly so when I die I just end up controlling particles, until they decay, then I get a new one. Just an emergent/buggy behavior from the ECS.

  Still on my android+keyboard+mouse meta. But now I switch between laying and standing. Using my dresser as a standing desk. It's super ergonomic. Sitting down after a few days of not sitting a whole lot is way different.
