  I have never liked him, not everything he says I necessarily disagree with, but he certainly loves calling people "morons" and well they say the insults you throw expose your own insecurities, I think in the case of Linus it holds true The kernel code is honestly by my standards mostly garbage, and I have seen a lot of Post Office Horizon code, it is no surprise to me he sees a future in vibe coding An engineer taking time to make logical decisions and questioning coding practices...

  /rant Docker, Vagrant, and any other devops automation is not a replacement for documentation It's another layer of complexity to fail when person who knew the obscure and terrible DSL that the thing used to have left years ago and forwent documenting anything because people should "just run `glassbottles start run`" and have it work Fucking document your runtime dependencies /endrant
