@avuko@infosec.exchange @cwebber@social.coop The annoying thing is that they will get it to the line of "it works" and throw that around like they have found the holy grail, meanwhile actual software engineers who take themselves seriously know "it works" is such a low bar it's basically meaningless It's so annoying that our field is in a state similar to the medical field at the turn of last century, we are full of barely-trained quacks just looking to get status and wealth with little to no care of the impacts of the systems we manage
