I don’t know why everyone suddenly has amnesia about the fact that #CNN was bought by a conservative asshole &amp; is just hoping you won’t notice long enough to radicalize you based on the network’s former reputation, inertia, &amp; brand loyalty. Nothing like #Twitter, of course.

Today someone referred to WTG and I literally took five whole minutes trying to figure out what the hell they were talking about, only to finally realize it wasn’t some misspelling of MTG I needed to either get excited about or slowly back away depending on your association with those initials… It was Welcome to Garbagetown. My own fucking Substack.

My niece got this for her birthday and no one is quite sure what it is. Can Mastodon help? The large piece is all wire netting and enamel, it couldn’t hold liquid. It came with four of the smaller cups in a set.

@starbreaker But the nut of the problem is those same people are entirely willing to ostracize others, so they don’t really think it’s a great evil, only a great evil when they’re in the out-group. When they’re the ones on top and in the circle, it’s a virtue.
