My favourite thing is when transit advocates forget they’re on the same team and attack each other, and the right wing politicians continue blocking better transit the entire time. It’s totally working guys.

Ahahaha this is rich. How dare politician A make political decision, says politician B. « The move [cancelling island airport expansion] blindsided Queen's Park. Ford and Carney, who have enjoyed warm relations since the prime minister succeeded Justin Trudeau in March 2025, had even shaken hands to informally seal the deal at the premier's Etobicoke home.” "It's Billy Bishop for Alto, that was always the understanding," said one insider, referring to the federal governme...

Good news: the federal Minister of Transport issued a statement which reads as a ‘no’ on expanding Billy Bishop airport. Comically, it was only posted to the white supremacist site. So unless you have an account you can’t read it. 1/2 #TOPoli #ONPoli #CDNPoli

Not only did they improve, but ditching gas was *better than medicine.* Post: https://www.climatecoloredgoggles.com/p/electric-stoves-asthma Study: https://www.jaci-inpractice.org/article/S2213-2198(26)00537-4/fulltext

RE: https://mastodon.social/@scalzi/116968541476805915 If you use AI tools, an important piece of advice I would give you is to not make it a vital link in any process chains, because *the tool you use is going to disappear due to cost*. Plan for after the crash, not just the top of this (ridiculous) wave. If you don’t use AI tools, you’re probably not in need of my advice; carry on.

The chemical, called 6PPD-Q, is formed when fine tire particles meet ozone. That happens anytime new chunks of tire are exposed to the air, meaning the particle may be nearly ubiquitous in car-heavy environments.”...
