Wow. Scientists gave asthma patients free electric stoves to replace their gas stoves, then checked to see if symptoms improved. @c_9@mstdn.ca Anything that throws up particles or things that irritate the lungs like gas, cigarette smoke, pollution, high ozone all exacerbate asthma. I grew up with bad asthma and we had electric stoves. Gas would've just made it worse. So, it's a good idea for households with them to replace them.

@c_9@mstdn.ca I can't switch out the gas hobs easily due the the 90cm electric oven they are on top of, so make very good use of this and the two-element version of the same.
