  Credit bureaus give away the game when they tell you your credit score has *decreased* simply because you are taking out a new line of credit. They are a scam, a grift set up to harvest and resell your information, and should be banned or so highly regulated that any unauthorized use/leak of your information should result in — let's say — a direct payout to you of no less than $10 million.

  My quandary: I biked to the grocery store and stopped at a coffee shop on the way home for an icy drink. Currently in the coffee shop, realizing it is now one thousand degrees outside and I have to pedal through it to get home. Or stay here and let my food melt/burn up

  The first time I attempted to summit Mount Massive we were about 200 meters from the summit on a ridge and the clouds rolled in, uncharacteristically early. We could hear the ice axes on our backs humming. We promptly bailed down one side of the ridge on a snowfield, glissading about 400 meters in just a few minutes to get out of danger.   My brother’s e-bike is saving the day for me as I gradually return to cycling after my back started crumbling to dust a month ago *and* as I recover from some surgery a week ago. It lets me move my body in a way that is beneficial and low-impact, and gives me boosts when I pedal so I can still get to places I enjoy. 1/2

  The Little Free Library we host is still going strong. I tend to it every other morning or so, organizing it roughly by category and weeding out the religious tracts someone keeps trying to insert here. My brother in Christ if people want religion there are at least three churches within walking distance. This is a place for potboilers, romance novels, fantasy, science fiction, do-it-yourself tomes, and Very Gay Literature. 🗡️🌹🧌👽🛠️🦄🌈
