  Questions for #PS5 users from someone who has not actively played video games since the PS2. Is the current deal for the digital PS5 with Fortnite at $399 a good one, or is this a lower quality model? What kind of monitor do I need to buy for the PS5? Digital or Disc versions? Thank you!

  @yPhil That's definitely an issue that stops me from enjoying retrogaming. I end up setting up Raspberry Pis or Emulators and then fill them up with games...and then there are so many games, I end up playing none of them. A friend of mine told me the only way to go into retrogaming is with original hardware and original games. You need to recreate the whole experience.

  Today I was thinking about the U.S. Constitution, how its interpretation affects our life and rights, and how courts spend so much time trying to understand what a bunch of guys wrote more than 300 years ago! That sounds like a religion or cult. Why should I live my life based on what someone said hundreds or thousands of years ago? It’s nonsense. The constitution should expire every 10 years and our life and rights should be shaped by new rules that capture our current society’s values.

  A request for the already great @ivory. #mastodon is filled with great content and I’d love a way to easily bookmark posts and add them to bookmark’s lists. I would have a list for retrogaming, one for illustration, one for comics, etc.

  Why are we attracted to #retrogaming and #RetroComputing? Is it nostalgia? Is it the idea of disconnected devices? Is it the quality of old-school games?
