@yPhil That's definitely an issue that stops me from enjoying retrogaming. I end up setting up Raspberry Pis or Emulators and then fill them up with games...and then there are so many games, I end up playing none of them. A friend of mine told me the only way to go into retrogaming is with original hardware and original games. You need to recreate the whole experience.
