There&#39;s a music festival taking place in a load of venues in my hometown in May. I went along last year to support a friend in his band, and saw a few cool bands I wouldn&#39;t have checked out otherwise. My band applied to play this year, the festival has posted the final lineup and we&#39;ve not been selected. Fine, but I haven&#39;t even had a rejection email. Someone I know is performing in 5 different bands. A lot of the same bands from last year are playing.

I&#39;m heading to the gym for the first time in a long time tonight. I figure that keeping my hair out of the way might be a wise idea, so I&#39;ve attempted to braid it myself. A for effort, but definitely a F for neatness 🤣

Trying to get some cables for my in-ear monitoring set up for the band and no one makes cables that do what I want, so I&#39;m gonna have to modify some £12 cables to solve my problem. Apparently unbalanced stereo on a single XLR jack is something so abhorrent that I can&#39;t even find what the wiring would be for it. And yes, I *know* I shouldn&#39;t do it, but this is just for IEMs, I don&#39;t care about a bit of noise on the line. As long as I can hear the drums and my own...
