Trying to get some cables for my in-ear monitoring set up for the band and no one makes cables that do what I want, so I'm gonna have to modify some £12 cables to solve my problem. Apparently unbalanced stereo on a single XLR jack is something so abhorrent that I can't even find what the wiring would be for it. And yes, I *know* I shouldn't do it, but this is just for IEMs, I don't care about a bit of noise on the line. As long as I can hear the drums and my own vocals, it's fine.
