  Now I remember why I loved this Kalami Assam black tea from Ahmad Tea! This is everything I love about Assam.   No tea review today because I’m at a tea cupping event where I’m sampling well over a dozen black teas. All these teas are from Taiwan and China. No Assamica, though Assamica grows in China as well. So far, the winners are Dianhong, Lapsang Souchong, and Ruby 18.

  Something Europeans don’t realize about Americans because there’s a societal disconnect: Americans aren’t stupid. They want to demonstrate that they don’t care. And the ultimate way to demonstrate that you do not care is to feign ignorance. That something is so unimportant to you that you’re oblivious towards it.
