My daughter is learning about the joys of dedicated—and offline—MP3 players.
Though technically, this FiiO X1 also plays lossless files too, but I digress.
There’s something freeing about not being distracted and just hearing the music.

@atomicpoet@atomicpoet.org Good DAP with good headphones and music in FLAC files (at least 16bit/44 kHz) and you can hear clearly every little detail in it (which you can miss in standard streaming) - love that feeling.
