  Folks, I'm looking for an accessible FTP client for Windows. FileZilla wants to install the Opera browser, and the bundle can't be excluded. So I don't want to go with that. Any recommendations?

  Courtesy of @nick@hkc.social the new Eloquence64RS Synth also has a 22 kHZ mode now. This beta introduces the optional Enhanced 22 kHz audio mode. The new mode is an original Rust DSP implementation with speech-presence shaping, stateful polyphase interpolation, and suppression of mirrored high-frequency energy.   Interesting work is happening around Eloquence. This PR in the eloquence_64 project adds support for using Eloquence through a 64-bit compatible wrapper in NVDA, moving more of the synthesis handling into a modernized interface instead of relying on legacy 32-bit components. In practice, it helps bridge the gap between Eloquence’s old architecture and NVDA’s 64-bit environment, which has been a long-standing limitation for this synthesizer. https://github.com/fastfinge/eloquence_64/pull/136

  Folks, we are moving our online radio setup to Icecast and I am looking for recommendations. I previously used RadioBOSS, which handled both live broadcasting and scheduling. Now I need accessible alternatives that work well with Icecast. Any screen reader friendly Windows software for live streaming, playlist management, and scheduling? Accessibility is very important to me, so real world experience would be appreciated. Of course, I'd rather not pay an arm and a leg for that app or set-up....

  Eloquence 64-bit for NVDA, version 17.2, is now available. This release removes additional artifacts by applying a notch filter around the 9 kHz region. These artifacts were quite subtle and not always noticeable, but they could still be heard upon careful listening. The update also slightly boosts the mid frequencies, making them more prominent.   The upcoming V2026.06 release of Eloquence/ IBMTTS Community Dictionaries will, for the first time, provide German fixes by a native speaker, as well as hundreds of new US English entries. But they have been optimized for Eloquence not IBMTTS. IBMTTS has issues detecting some of the German corrections.   Eloquence 64-bit for NVDA now supports a 44 kHz mode. It’s currently in preview and still being fine-tuned. You can use the Sample Rate combo box in the Voices dialog to increase the default rate from 11 kHz to 44 kHz for clearer speech. Unlike the 22 kHz mode in IBMTTS and ViaVoice, this mode doesn’t introduce pops, jitters, or unexpected voice resets. Added support for attaching the bullet character (•) to the preceding link line, preventing it from being placed on a separate line in Browse Mode when Screen layout is off.   Whoever has designed Gmail web's To field list contact picker must have been on drugs or something! The moment you type a letter there, your focus moves elsewhere, and the screen reader starts reading the to/ CC/ BCC/ subject fields altogether! Handling that is a bit easier with JAWS, but sending emails in the name of accessibility shouldn't involve this much insanity.

  Hey @Bri Any chance, if doable at all, of modifying FastSM's behavior? Currently if you log into a Bluesky account successfully, but have a rather slow or less than optimal internet connection, like mine, it forces to repeat the whole log-in process yet again. This continues as long as the connection remains less than optimal. So you log in successfully, are logged out, and are then forced to log in. Quite laborsome. It doesn't affect Mastodon accounts - only Bluesky is affected....

  So I ended up designing heading/ list/ element navigation in the display results text area of my add-on only because NVDA doesn't support native HTML display inside add-ons without having to open a separate message box or dialog. Tweaking it took a lot of time, but it works quite reliably now. @NVAccess

  To all TGSpeechBox users: am I the only one who thinks TGSpeechBox pronounces t like p? It really says t like p in US English! Also its jeh sound in g and j sounds mushy and soft. We should have a more pronounced jeh sound. @Tamasg
