Interesting work is happening around Eloquence. This PR in the eloquence_64 project adds support for using Eloquence through a 64-bit compatible wrapper in NVDA, moving more of the synthesis handling into a modernized interface instead of relying on legacy 32-bit components. In practice, it helps bridge the gap between Eloquence’s old architecture and NVDA’s 64-bit environment, which has been a long-standing limitation for this synthesizer.

Worth mentioning that Eloquence 64 is really responsive at this stage (much more than its JAWS counterpart) even without these new enhancements. But any responsiveness improvement in this area is hugely welcome.
