  I'm gonna see if I can finish my new track and get it up for #BandcampFriday. It was supposed to be on an album, and I think it still will be, but I think I'll release the album a track at a time. So yeah...here goes. Nobody do anything cool while I'm gone.

  I'm planning a trip to Oaxaca, Mexico with my mom for our 75th/45th birthdays. (We were supposed to do 70/40 but traveling 5 years ago was a hard no.) Anybody have any "don't miss this" suggestions for Oaxaca (city + coastal), or "skip it, it ain't great" thoughts? We're both mobile and fairly active. My mom can't really do boats anymore. We both love normal stuff: art/culture, mole (omg yum) and other Mexican cuisine, beautiful natural stuff, etc. #Ask...

  I've been working on ways to improve the air quality in my house, which includes monitoring, so I bought open source indoor/outdoor monitors from AirGradient, a Thai company. Just want to report that I have gotten both monitors set up and I'm super duper impressed with the kits and the process.   I clearly need a long-term solution for maintaining my respiratory health when there's wildfire smoke. What are people doing? Anyone recommend specific respirators? (I don't particularly want to rely long term on being able to get a very specific type of filter if that's possible.) Is the Corsi Rosenthal box the best thing for my house?   It's the second year of my food garden. I've greatly expanded this year by adding an in-ground bed. While things are going pretty well, everything hasn't seemed quite as charmed as last year. I've had a lot more pests to deal with this year for some reason. Still, it feels like a gift to be able to get outside for a couple of hours a day and have a clear task to do. (And one that will feed me, even!) #gardening

  Holy fuck this review is brutal. Honestly, I love to see it. Haven't heard the album, have never really listened to Muse, but I'm kind of over every piece of so-called criticism being either gushing or milquetoast. I'm also not for trolling or negativity for its own sake, but this doesn't seem like that.   Guitar question! I want to be able to take my electric guitar out and about and play it at about the same level as an acoustic guitar. I only care about the clean tone, because if I want amp modeling I have a Strymon Iridium that suits me. Don't need bells and whistlesj like effects etc. It would sometimes need to be mic'd up, and would usually be played with acoustic instruments (e.g. piano). Anyone have personal experience with a small amp that could achieve this? #Gear...

  It's good to see a big gear tuber like Starsky Carr make a video about just enjoying music. I avoid his videos these days unless there's something specific he's looking at that I'm interested in, because I kinda hate videos that are shilling products.
