  I accidentally texted my mom who I love very much a complaint about how she chooses dogs (she doesn't personality test/therefore she shouldn't be allowed to choose dogs), and now I have forever contaminated conversations about the puppy she is adopting. I am upset and the only thing that makes it tolerable is calling myself stupid and other such names, which I try not to do...

  Telling people voles and groundhogs and whatnot aerate their soil and improve their plants over time which may be true, but have I ever looked it up? I have not. I just want the little guys to have homes.

  Body nonsense is showing up with fatigue and, bizarrely, an appetite that won't turn off! Never in my life experienced this, and it is weird. Doctor stuff has been initiated, and I continue to use what brain I have to soak up litRPG audiobooks. Almost like playing videogames myself!

  Anyone know of resources that tell you when it's time to leave a public comment? I have heard that leaving public comments may not stop a bad thing from being done, but it can be useful for future lawsuits.

  Life is slow around here. I've run out of Dungeon Crawler Carl books, and I'm still coming down off that reading binge. We have a few brave daffodils opening; they seem unconcerned by the occasional freezing temperatures. I continue to improve my ability to help my body. I think I've unpinched/uncompressed some nerves in my spine. Learning this sort of thing plus daily pain takes most of my functional attention. Not a bad life, though.

  Sammy the dog is cursed to be in the most inconvenient location. She has a long and fruitful history of tripping humans by walking right into their path, or blocking exactly what they are trying to reach. Today, she took a poo, and I headed toward it with a bag. She wheeled around and bounded joyfully toward me and planted a paw right in the poo. I had to scrub between her toes. Yuck!

  Redwing blackbirds are back. We have opened the windows to let in some actual air on this warm day, and from everywhere in the house, you can hear their whistles and laser sound effects noise. Thw cardinals must be thinking oh gawd, the tourists are back, but I love it.
