  I don't like posting news, but if you aren't already aware of UPFs' health impact and how it is being manipulated from being exposed - this very recent report details how the big corporations follow the tobacco playbook to keep cold cuts, peanut butter, white bread, frozen meals, biscuits, crisps, and soft drinks on shelf.   It sounds suspiciously like people want a photographer to painstakingly wait for the perfect moment for a mere photograph. The craft of capturing a moment has been elevated by some to an art form; but not everyone treat it as a piece of art. Most people have more important to get on with in their lives. Yeah crime and punishment stands the test of time and all that but stop gatekeeping flick novels from publishing.

  The older I am the more I appreciate Nigella Lawson. I slowly and unwillingly came to acceptance that I won't be making every single dish with pedantry. I still make a mirepoix, I still do equilibrium brining... but sometimes I use apples or whatever veg I have instead of sticking with the holy trinity; and the 72 hours schedule is slowly drifting towards a week. Pragmatism is taking over. #food

  I don't like poor journalism and this time MIT really gets on my nerves. Grace Huckins wrote and I quote: "... denied an AI agent’s request to contribute to matplotlib..." ".... discover the agent had retaliated with a blog post" It phrased in a way to suggest the AI, as a tool, itself retaliate; but it is a human-led harassment utilising AI/LLM. A human opened the github account Rathbun, and prompted the AI (openclaw?) to retaliate with a blog post...
