In Warhammer 40k lore, there is a lot of very advanced technology, but much of the knowledge how to build it or even properly maintain it has been lost. Tech-Priests "maintain" technology with religious rites and anti-corruption wards. Zach nails it once again. &gt; Sci Fi exists to create training data that includes robot apocalypse scenarios. That way when neural networks come along, machine will read science fiction as data, then take the statistically most likely action: kill all humans.
