  Nobody's perfect. Every leader has their shortcomings. One of Janeway's is after 7 years Harry was still an Ensign. I think maybe she always saw Harry as the young man who was fresh out of the Academy. It didn't help when his parents contacted the ship because he forgot his musical instrument. And I'm especially galled that she promoted Tom. Tom??!! He showed questionable maturity and impulsivity bordering on a lack of self control. #HarryDeservedBetter #StarTrek...

  On #HBOMax, there's a documentary series called How The Universe Works. Well, they have seasons 5-11. First up, an episode on #Planet9. So of course I think of #StarWars...   I started this doc on Netflix and the host says something so stupid that I think, what did he just say? They're climbing a mountain to where this telescope will be and he says when we get to the top of the mountain we'll be above the atmosphere because you need to be above the atmosphere to see. What the what--- ??!! Who did they get to host this #science documentary?

  The very beginning of #TheFifthElement when they're showing the planet from space, there's a scraping sound. It really reminds me of the beginning of #StarTrek The Voyage Home when the space obelisk is sending out the signal looking for the whales. Anybody else notice the striking similarity? TBC, this is before we see the spaceship.

  I spent a good deal of the day sobbing yesterday. I'm involved in a lawsuit and I had to fill out a really detailed questionnaire which meant I had to look up all these small details and I ended up spending like 6 hours knee deep in horrible memories. I kept getting frustrated and sobbing and my neck hurt and my head was pounding. It was a really bad day. I'm trying to recuperate today. I need happy #funny #movies.   Why was the shooter of the press correspondent's dinner shown naked? Did they strip him or did he attack buck ass naked? Just curious. I've never seen a suspect stripped in public.
