  Maybe it's a sign that I don't have enough going on in my life that I spend so much time depressed about phones and the internet and all that. Maybe I'm sad not because the world is depressing but because my life is depressing. Maybe I'm stupid and pathetic.

  Hear me out: White and blue make _terrible_ indicator LEDs. Not just because those are pretty terrible colors for light you're gonna have on/flashing all the time, though that certainly is true. But also because they dim _orders of magnitude_ faster than red or green indicator LEDs. So eg on laptops and keyboards where you commonly have some lights that are on almost all the time and other lights that are only sometimes on (eg numlock vs scroll lock, or power vs charging), then after only...

  Pet peeve: Video games that make you sit through two intro animations, three sets of various versions of "press start", and four or five different loading screens in a row, all totaling five to twenty five minutes, afterwhich it just dumps you straight into your save without pausing, just immediately back into the fray with no warning what so ever, pretty much immediately making it so you have to reload again and sit through another several minutes of loading.
