Pet peeve:
Video games that make you sit through two intro animations, three sets of various versions of "press start", and four or five different loading screens in a row, all totaling five to twenty five minutes, afterwhich it just dumps you straight into your save without pausing, just immediately back into the fray with no warning what so ever, pretty much immediately making it so you have to reload again and sit through another several minutes of loading.

Seriously though, if your game takes a long time to load, ffs pause it when it loads And also, if you could do some of the loading during the intro videos, that would be great. And, please only require user input on an interactive menu. Don't make me press start on a screen that only says press start, just to drop me into the main menu. The main menu alone is fine. It's what I came for.
