  Saw a stand-up bass in a road case up close yesterday, and had to reaffirm the decision to get an octaver and electric cello, not bass... because them things are fkn huge and I am not. How high do heels go? I don't think I have the arm reach anyway!

  I wish people's default reaction to new info that challenges their previous knowledge was curiosity and compassion, not denial and/or confused, often irrational anger. I also wish people had to be educated further than the most simplified basics about sex vs gender. Naturally occurring, visually identifiable divergence from the binary is not new, nor that rare. Neither is the spectrum of intellectually self-conceived gender identity. Big sigh.

  When someone raises a community concern about a poverty or policy issue, why do some randos always come thru with a brag about how much better off they have it elsewhere? Are they ok? Do they think they are being kind? Helpful? Informative? "The People" do not have access to better policy and governance just because it may exist somewhere else. Yet here they come, acting as if the citizenry can simply make a wish on a comment and liberate ourselves.

  In the past week, I watched a roadside attractions group get confused over an AI image. Someone asked where in the US was that attraction. Many replies made up false answers on purpose, but some used AI to find the attraction. All answers were incorrect except "this is AI, it does not exist".

  I don't know why people are so attached to a mythical concept of who/what Christianity is, but ffs... The actual words of Jesus would fit a 5 page essay, compared to the text of the Bible The justifications for authoritarianism, ethnic cleansing, genocide, misogyny, etc.. are all in the text depending on the translation 300+ denominations Christofash, Nationalists, and white Seperatists, etc... all fit under that very wide banner Pretending they don't is ahistoric and harmfu...
