  @flexghost @UlrikNyman I disagree on blaming 2 party system for this. Normally, yes, 2 party system isn't ideal. *However*, in this case, it should have made defeat of Trump easier. All Americans know they live in 2 party system. They know a vote for anything but Harris is a vote for Trump (and vice versa). So if anyone wants to stop Trump, the course of action is easy. Just vote for Harris. That's it. But they don't. They would bend over backwards to look for excuse...

  @flexghost I know 😔 Honestly, I have been in a funky mood since Nov, particularly bad since late Jan. It just felt like such a horrible backstab. 2016, to some extent, I could quasi understand. But 2024? After all he had done? How could veterans vote for a guy mocking Gold Star family? How could Hispanic voters support a guy mocking their own heritages as s***hole countries? How could Arab voters support the guy moving American embassy to Jerusalem? How could farmers support the guy bankrupt...

  @andybrwn well, you have to understand, Trump and co don't care about you and me. We can starve for all the care... Reminding yourself this: Hoover administration were also talking about market opportunities as the world sliding into Great Recession. It's same. I mean, Hoover was about 75 times more capable than Trump, and infinitely more honorable. But attitudes? Same.

  Phew. After like 1.5 years and God knows how much money, this weekend I finally finished with my 2nd ok-looking enamel piece! Super ambitious this round with plique-à-jour and all! The back is still a bit rough though, but you can see the day shining through 😍. The front is fine (copper wires went black, per usual), but probably benefits from a mild polish. The back really really needs a good stoning and polishing. Will add pearl and finding afterwards. #enamel #Jewelry #pliqueajour

  Fast, delicious, and relatively cheap dinner! Whole grain spaghetti with seafood (squid in this case) also makes it nutritious. Ink sauce and freshly grated cheese are just so deeply satisfying. At $7/tin, affordable 😃 #dinnner
