@flexghost @UlrikNyman I disagree on blaming 2 party system for this. Normally, yes, 2 party system isn't ideal. *However*, in this case, it should have made defeat of Trump easier. All Americans know they live in 2 party system. They know a vote for anything but Harris is a vote for Trump (and vice versa). So if anyone wants to stop Trump, the course of action is easy. Just vote for Harris. That's it. But they don't. They would bend over backwards to look for excuses to help Trump. Look at the Michigan Arab voters. OMG Harris stopped by Dearborn and not Detroit, so the few miles of driving was too far, so Harris must not have cared about me, so I will let Trump win. But it's not my fault! Look at Hispanic voters, particularly in Florida. OMG it's not about you my friends who will get deported. So I will vote for Trump, and now I am so shocked that Trump and his people randomly arrest Spanish speaking citizens. 2 party system made this clear: ⅓ of Americans loved Trump. Another ⅓ didn't care.
