until this week, I thought people who put diapers on dogs had very serious character flaws and were Not Like Me In Any Way I do not know what the hell is wrong with this little asshole, he came from a neglect/abuse situation but he knows perfectly damn well how to hold his pee. I'm home all the time, I only leave the house once or twice a week for brief errands. he gets plenty of chances to pee on things outside but he's taken to doing it inside. he even pees in his crate. so, diapers f...

There are events that resemble one another, continued the elder, opposites are born from that similarity. The Old Testament opens with Adam but the New Testament opens with Christ. The sweetness of the apple that Adam eats turns into the bitterness of the vinegar that Christ drinks. The tree of knowledge leads humanity to death but a cross of wood grants immortality to humanity. Remember, O Amvrosy, that repetitions are granted for our salvation and in order to surmount time. —Laurus, Eugene Vol...

I chopped up some dried apricots and left them on the counter. This nigger ate almost an entire cup of them, then barfed them all up. It's like living with a racoon.

I stole some heartleaf hibiscus seeds while I was in Austin. The same yard had maypops but none of the seed pods were ripe yet. Stolen seeds are best seeds. I've already planted them.

given what @graf@poa.st has reported, and what @tyler@nicecrew.digital said about his last conversation with Turkleton, I am moving Turkleton from the prayers for the sick to the prayer for the dead list. ☦️

first thing this morning terriernigger does this, but with a snek on the back porch so before coffee I get my handy snek-grabber to remove the menace. how, as a wamman, I hate sneks. fuck all sneks. this shitty little specimen might have been a water moccasin or it might have been a plain-bellied water snek. it sprayed skunky musk all over the porch and wrapped its body around anything it could grab to thwart its removal. didn't get a picture because no coffee yet and all I could think was...

re-reading Gone With The Wind again. it's so good, even though I am now noticing that Mitchell uses a lot of cliches that I would query or re-word if I were editing. this is not a romance, it's an agonizing tragedy. 90 years ago Margaret Mitchell set out to document what they stole from us. she refused all publicity, and never wrote another book.

the one and only time I ever got to visit Canada, having heard that Alberta was the Texas of Canada we drove there from Texas. we went through Montana to Banff, which is a mountain tourist town, then went to Calgary. everyone drove so slowly I thought I would die and I saw 5 guys in a row wearing capri pants. not trying to cast aspersions upon the mighty nation of Canada but maybe my expectations were a little off

@dictatordave@poa.st @Chzikken_1486@poa.st also, being Orthodox, I've read extensively on the political situation in Russia from the late 1800s through the solidification of the bolshevik revolution. brutal Christian mass martyrdom is on the way, but as time has shown, that isn't the end of the story.
