first thing this morning terriernigger does this, but with a snek on the back porch
so before coffee I get my handy snek-grabber to remove the menace. how, as a wamman, I hate sneks. fuck all sneks. this shitty little specimen might have been a water moccasin or it might have been a plain-bellied water snek. it sprayed skunky musk all over the porch and wrapped its body around anything it could grab to thwart its removal. didn't get a picture because no coffee yet and all I could think was to get this snek outta here. I flung it into the woods toward the creek.

@LawrenceGerald@poa.st That was not a great start to the day. Glad you got rid of it and do hope the stench fades fast. I'd say you earned your coffee this morning and then some. I don't hate all snakes myself but I am always kind of wary of them in a primal fear way. I used to have a few tiny little vine snakes that would weave their way across the chain link fence around the front of the garden, like clockwork, each morning and they were cute and harmless. I still give serpents the sideeye until I know for sure they're cool though. :pusheen_sus: 🐍
