  Working on my final project with a dear colleague. Here's an excerpt from the assignment he wrote for his 10th grade American lit class.   The “I voted for Trump to do X, not Y!” posts are horrifying/fascinating. *He did exactly the opposite of X last time. OR *His promise to do X was a transparent lie, debunkable by a third grader. OR (weirdest!) *He never said or implied he would do X! They can’t admit why they voted for him.

  I like the idea that everyone here is responsible for making Mastodon as accessible as possible for disabled users. I wish everyone could get into that same spirit about making Mastodon as welcoming as possible for Black people, instead of telling them to find another instance or make their own.
