This article is a great assignment for #InformationLiteracy class:
*Is all knowledge available for free online?
*What did the author need beyond physical access to resources?
*How can a history become lost?
*What is the role of social networks in search?
*Which people or institutions might have the information you seek?
*Why are archives important? What are the challenges of using them?
*How does one question become many?

@Julie@social.coop How tenacious do you have to be to really discover new stuff from the archives…?

@Julie@social.coop @davidallengreen@mastodon.green Thought provoking but I'd question the first question. Is it possible to have online knowledge or are we talking about data and information? Is knowledge something only a person can have or can an AI system have knowledge?
