My favorite are the comments like, "respectfully, I would fuck you in half." Cause now I'm literally picturing how you do that "respectfully", and everything I'm coming up with is hilarious. Good thing humor is sexy.

I noticed they offered a cube by the other designers to someone hired several years after me and not me. I'm just going to assume that's because I'm at a motorized standing desk, and the cubes have normal desks. They did offer me a cube over there few years ago, but it is literally next to the door with a window into the hallway. In other words, it looks like the reception desk. No thanks. My years at the front desk are over.

Somehow snoozed on my annual review. As in didn't fill it out. Didn't turn it in. Didn't set up an appointment for today/tomorrow. We'll see how my boss handles my apology. I set up time on his calendar for tomorrow. He accepted. ๐ฌ

So fun explaining to people that atheism is a lack of belief in god(s) and NOT certainty they don't exist. I lack a belief in god(s). I have heard the claims, and they are simply not compelling. Too many unanswerable questions. I won't take them seriously until that changes. If we get proof? Well, then it still won't be about belief, it will be a fact. I can accept new facts and findings. I don't want to believe, I want to know.

My dog doesn't stand by the door or bark to let us know he needs to go outside. He follows you from room to room, like almost a little stompy walk. Then stops and stares at you. Often sitting right in front of you. If you do not pay attention he will paw you. It's like he's trying to use dog telepathy. I often wonder if he *thinks* we can read his thoughts because we so often anticipate his needs.

Man, my husband's stories of growing up in a lilly white suburb in the 80s/90s. ๐ฑ Like, their church had a DL swingers club. There was so much wife swapping, a bunch of the kids at school looked more like one of the neighbors than their father. He learned a pineapple on the front porch = we're having an orgy tonight, come over.

I don't mean to not take colorrectal cancer seriously, but this testing kit is hilarious. You want me to do WHAT with this brush?๐ซข Shut up, there's a video demo?๐ How long did you make someone labor over the "illustration"?๐คฃ Darker shades of green for your marketing palette, huh? Big ass pairs of dots. Oh? ARE these buttcheeks??Are these desired shades for samples? ๐คฃ๐คฃ๐คฃ Okay, I'm done.

I've been trying to fix a screwed up project and people are just being really fucking unhelpful. AFAIK, I made a request, it was understood, a reprint/delivery happened. Over a month later, and we suddenly don't remember this request and have NO documentation of any work happening, no packing slip. So I am being treated like a dull child, like "if you need to make a request..." ๐คฆโโ๏ธ I seem to be the only one taking this seriously, and that is not a good sign be...

To get my art posted, I installed Tusky. It's been great on my phone. As soon as I log in, the very first post is a boost of someone who (awhile back)I thought was a friend. Or at least becoming one. But he ragequit abruptly. I didn't even find out until a few days later. And when I stumbled upon the post that supposedly set it off, it still made very little sense. Just me being bitter at the social sea. All the undercurrents I know nothing about that still affect me anyway.

Crixus is my laundry helper. From the first day I did laundry after adopting him, in fact. I brought up our laundry, and put the bag of clean clothes on the couch where I sort them, and wanted into the bag. Soon as I poured out the clothes, he dove in and buried himself under the clothes. These days I put things aside first like napkins, towels, dish towels, etc. It's fine if he wallows in socks and workout clothes. Anyway, here he is on Saturday. Proudly making sure the laundry smell...

Trying tusky today. So here's my thighs. In search of a better masto app because: - Fedilab - makes my portrait pics sideways. - Official Mastodon app - UI Text is too small and bookmarks are unintuitively hidden in profile settings.

Being on the short & small side, one of the weird things is all the stores who do not give a fuck. Some just do not stock smalls in certain products. Especially for men. Gloves and hats. Sometimes t-shirts and socks. I worked retail jobs where the uniform were all a Large and "do not ask". I went to DSW Shoes. It's huge. Like a gutted warehouse, full of shoes. The WHOLE warehouse, there was no stockroom. They did not have one shoe in my size. Nothing smaller than a 9. I wear...

"You miss all the shots you don't take" is bleah. You are not failing at everything you are not trying. It's very negative, it's motivating by shame and guilt. Yuck.

"It's better to ask forgiveness than permission" When I first saw that saying, it was the story of a dude who opted NOT to ask his boss if it was okay he applied for a job in a different part of the company. He fully accepted the gamble to his relationship with his manager, and said he was lucky it worked out. It was a professional context where "permission" is more courtesy and culture than literal approval. Now people apply it to anything, rejec...

That authoritarian child raising style was jist so awful. As a kid, did you ever have those adults who were impatient if you didn't understand things? Like you don't comprehend on purpose? So you have to pretend to understand this idiot's mangled sentences and non-logic? And then go ask a sane adult WTF that was all about?

apparently people are upset about storing ketchup in the fridge. Take your issue up with the person who had "refrigerate after opening" printed on the bottle. ๐คท Also, you've clearly never had food poisoning. Because if you had ever had even a mild case of it, you wouldn't question people being very careful about food spoilage.
