That authoritarian child raising style was jist so awful. As a kid, did you ever have those adults who were impatient if you didn't understand things? Like you don't comprehend on purpose? So you have to pretend to understand this idiot's mangled sentences and non-logic? And then go ask a sane adult WTF that was all about?
