Work reminding me just a bit too much of my game dev uni days of hacking together final projects in a weekend. Why is my list of high priority todo's a dozen entries long.

Life tip: you can get water leak sensors for like $30, and this will save your ass when you, as an overly specific example, remove the laundry machine drain hose from the drain to check a plumbing issue, forget to put it back, then the next one to come by runs laundry without noticing. Caught it when only through putting most of a laundry load of water on the floor, instead of giving it all hours to soak into every non-concrete surface in the basement.

Ah the lovely smell of sewer gas in the morning. Now to figure out why the basement smells intensely of sewer gas and also ventilate the whole place as that is both toxic and potentially explosive :)

TIL: our yard has both wild raspberries and wild blackberries! And the patch of 3 dozen alpine strawberries I put together at the start of last year is quite well established now, and making a lot of tiny, flavourful berries, while creating a nice dense cover crowding out most other plants.

Watched the new GITS' currently released episodes 3 times now while showing it to various folks, and it's just so good. Doing a shot for shot recreation of an already dense manga creates a density of information that is absolutely delicious for my brain to chew on.

Love when work meeting reveals that actually the manager had the wrong idea on dates, and things are due a month earlier than targeted for and thus we have 1/3 the expected time remaining to finish them :)

Got to show the original Ghost in the Shell movie to 3 people who hadn't seen any Ghost in the Shell this evening. What a fucking great movie. A movie that really poses the question to the audience: what if a movie was entirely composed of iconic scenes. How normal would you be about that?

The best part about playing mysterium in TTS is being able to use the pen tool to forcefemme the character cards
