  Gardening book advice wanted 👩‍🌾 📚 I’m looking for a book which clearly (but not too simplistically) outlines what plants (think veggies and fruit) should be planted when and what should be planted together as companion plants. 🫛🌽 There’s probably a word which articulates that idea more succinctly but it’s the morning and I can’t think of it.   I can’t remember if it was on here it came up or not (apologies if it was), but I’m curious about the Man in the Moon people see. If you look at the moon when it’s full, where is he?   I’m having great fun trying to be imagine what ParcelForce’s systems are like under the hood. For context, I’m waiting for a delivery and get five different statuses for it: 🌍 preparing to return to sender (no, it’s not) 💷 customs charges due (no, I paid them) 📦 at sorting depot (maybe?) 📍at delivery depot (might be??) ✅ delivered! (It hasn’t been) How do you get into the situation where one ID can give five statuses? I mean I know how you could, but wow! #software #interestingArchitecture

  Today’s weather was just about perfect. I took my camera for a nice long walk. Did I take any “good” photos? No, not really. Just a lot of very unexceptional pictures of flowers and plants.   Another lovely day here so I put a new handle on an old kitchen knife. The plastic handle came off ages (I mean years!) ago, but now it has a nice oak handle. Not perfect, but that’s ok. It just needed to be functional. #repair #diy #woodworking

  Finished my little lap quilt for work. It was double checking the orientation of each triangle that was taking such a long time, but I’m happy with the result and don’t mind a few mis-aligned pieces. Edit: CW enthusiasts might appreciate this too. #quilts #quilting #sewing #craft #hamradio

  I have a question about plug in solar panels 🙋‍♀️ Looking the ones available in Europe, the idea seems to be solar panels -> micro inverter-> plug into wall. I feel like I’m missing something fundamental about household circuits. Why / how does plugging a power source into a normal plug socket work?
