  For a game with a Very Positive Steam rating, Savara kinda hits me as how NOT to do a roguelite. The route is unchanging, and short, with few enemy types. The bosses are just bigger versions of regular enemies. No surprises or variations. That said, there is a decent skill tree, along with robust weapons and armor variety, but you'll probably be done and moved on before you unlock it all. Earnest enough little game that I won't remember exists in a few months. #gaming #roguelit...

  Done! Draft one of my fantasy-sci-fi-horror-superhero saga is complete! Never moved on a first draft so fast in my life (or enjoyed one so much) 😄 I think it really brings my genre-mashing to an all-time personal record, especially since I have some drama and comedy in there, too. #writingCommunity

  Food packages with a weird number of portions (5, 11 for instance) remind me of those shady online games where they sell you enough credit to buy what you want, but you have a little left over - but not enough to get a whole other item - so you have to buy more.   Knowing that there are at least a decent percentage of readers who like to skip prologues, I'm tempted to name my chapters Prologue, Prologue 2, Prologue 3 and so forth and see how long it takes readers to realize they've been trolled. #WritingCommunity

I don't have much memory of it except that I liked the Black Riders and Shelob (of course I did) And then I wrote a Star Wars-esque saga when I was nine. It was suspiciously like Return of the Jedi

  While he's not my favorite Star Wars character overall, Cal Kestis is the best Star Wars protagonist (in my 200% correct opinion). Why? Because he treats the droid BD-1 like a friend, partner, and equal, instead of a useful toolkit that can be powered down or memory wiped if he becomes annoying or a liability. Luke and R2 are okay, but R2 still has to do as he's told. #StarWars #DroidEquality #gaming
