We’re really struggling financially at the moment and now have a broken down car that I rely on for mobility. The car is adapted and isn’t covered by any special scheme so until I fix it we can go anywhere. We also don’t have any food and I’m so ashamed that we’ve got into this situation. If you can help our fund please go to https://ko-fi.com/chloegilbertartist and donate. Many thanks

Don’t fetishise tools or objects, this is hard to do when famous and influential people endorse or advertise them. Remember, the magic’s not in the trainers, or the camera, or the special note taking tool, or the LLM. The magic is in you.

This watercolour painting, of a woman wearing a big hat, holding a duck or is it a goose? Watching a sunrise, or is it a sunset? Watercolour. And some gouache on her blouse. #watercolour #gouache #painting #art #sunset #sunrise

Painted this after a visit to Stockhill Wood on the Mendips. My son and I used to go there a lot at one time and I miss that now. I like the sunlight coming through the trees there, and in the plantation part the trees are in straight lines (I assume for mechanical harvesting later) and you get some lovely views. At the top end there is some traditional woodland that’s more organic so it’s a good place for walks. #art #watercolour #trees

I have to go outside all the opportunities I can get. Being a trans woman I could be banned at any moment from going somewhere or doing something. Thank about that for a minute if they were to do that to you too. Think about how you’d feel. And what you’d think about how society views you and your worth.

Whoever controls the entropy, controls the world. The billionaire class understands this and their seeming love of acting randomly is just them causing chaos so they ride the waves and make some more bucks. They want you to get your entropy from them, but they haven’t yet realised that people can do it back. And we can restore order beneath them too.

So sorry I hate to ask at this time. I’m totally broke due to a plethora of badly timed things and I’m overdrawn right to my limit. I’m off work too after a fall earlier in the week. I need money for food and also to pay a bill from the electricity people. If you can help please go to https://ko-fi.com/chloegilbertartist anything is welcome. Thank you thank you. 🙏 #mutualAidRequest #kofi #helpfolkslive2026

So the person who (without asking or my knowledge) uploaded one of my work in progress paintings to an AI and asked it to “finish it off” has been made very aware that it wasn’t an acceptable thing to do but is not sorry they did so and said to me “but I still like your paintings” like that would make me feel any better. They are a white cis man, works in IT, late boomer to early Gen X age group, and has had a fascination with AI for some time & currently unemployed after being made re...

I posted my painting I was working on (unfinished) and someone replied: “I asked Gemini to have a bash at finishing it for you” and had copied my painting into an AI and posted the results below my image. I’m slightly speechless by the rudeness and breach of copyright for doing that and that someone I know would do that without asking me.

Taking your earrings out and putting the studs back in is hard when you’ve been out with the girls after trans pride Bristol and had a few too many ciders and white wines.

A large number of hugely drunken trans women is a delight to behold. It was the best night I’ve had in years. Two people I saw were basically a double act channeling ‘Withnail & I’ but if they were trans women. Another person having a drawn out argument with a wall. It sounded complicated. Hilaire
