@UncleDuke1969@universeodon.com Ah yes, this is an unfortunate side effect of putting up bird feeders… I used to think squirrels were cute little critters who bring joy to my day. Now I know that they are shameless gluttonous destructive tree rats that exist solely to dig holes everywhere and foil my efforts to provide nourishment to my feathered friends. Cats: Oh my gawd! Aaaaagh! Get OFF that feeder! … STOP digging up the petunias! OUT! OFF! Aargh! You are ruining my life!

#ThreeGoodThings #3GoodThings Post carpal tunnel surgery edition… The bandaging leaves all of my digits free, so I don’t have the Barbie hands or flippers that I saw in some of the images posted online. Phew! The numbness in my right hand is subsiding (whole hand was completely numb post surgery yesterday). I am excused from cooking for the next week or so, which means I am enjoying cookies and popcorn for dinner tonight. Adulting is not my forte, and it’s nice when I don’t have to try.

I often have the tv on as background sound to cover obnoxious traffic noise. Natty Geo channel is showing shark attack shows all day…. I’m not particularly interested in sharks. But I haven’t been in the ocean since I saw the movie Jaws in the theater, and I like to get some validation now and then that I am smart and make wise decisions. #JustSayNoToSharkAttacks

Well, my #HashTagGames compadres, this has been delightful, but I had double carpal tunnel surgery today, and I am s’posed to be “keeping both hands elevated and in motion.” So it’s time to get back to practicing The Royal Wave and Raising the Roof…. And enjoying some well deserved cookies. My right hand is still completely numb. Hoping that it’s better tomorrow so I can send belated virtual obscene hand gestures to the evil medical people who made six IV punctures in me today. Sadists.
