  Hmm on the one hand Mamdani seems to be the promising NYC mayor in a while, on the other it drives me up the wall when people say he completely balanced the budget. Deferring pension payment? Likely necessary but not really balancing anything Pressuring the state to give funds to fill in the gap? Good but also not balancing

  My ceo has stopped even hiding that his emails are all AI generated so it truly has become he sends emails he never reads to people that never read it. The email can usually be summed up in a sentence “some teams will be prioritized to new work abruptly”, but no it will be 4 paragraphs that include gems like “moving at the rate of possibility” I truly hate AI in corporate environments

  After all of this is over, years after Trump’s passing and popularity wanes, there is going to be a rehabilitation campaign for Trump by the right. That Trump was cognitively struggling and that he was just taken advantage by those around him. If only that didnt happen he could have fixed the country like he always dreamed.

  Lol team was able to discuss response to AI “totally not a mandate”. In response to someone sharing personal concerns around copyright, environment, atrophy of skill, etc the response was basically “just let me know if you have these sorts of concerns in 1:1s. I dont want DIRECTOR to start questioning why half the team isnt using it”

  I still remember visiting my first girlfriend years ago. She was French Canadian and i was meeting her family. Her mom made some sort of pork roast or pork chop. There was a full bottle of ketchup placed next to my seat. I could feel eyes on me. They finally said “its ok if you need to put ketchup on it” It seems quaint now putting ketchup on everything being the worse stereotype Canadians have of the USA

  My biggest “conspiracy” theory is that i believe in 3-5 years it is going to come out how much chatter online in 2023-2026 is large LLM companies running influence campaigns. This includes the extreme anti AI people, extremely pro AI people, and the clown car amount of people everyday saying “AI wasnt useful to me until THIS MODEL”
